During this project I was to create the visual identity for the documentary Bending Light. It followed the 1922 international expedition to test Einstein’s theory of relativity by viewing an eclipse at 3 locations. I started this project by designing the logo, establishing typography, crafting prop notebooks, and creating a brand package. The job expanded beyond the initial scope, which excited me. I then moved on to setting lower thirds, archival photo restoration and applying brand assets for marketing materials such as the movie poster.
Using archival photography and written media, I worked to make this journal feel as though it went on the original expedition.
